"Javanese"
refers to a solid-coloured Oriental Longhair, a cat with green eyes, or in the case of white cats they may be odd eyed or as shown by the kitten below a paler blue than the Siamese.
What is the major difference
the plume tail as opposed to the whip tail
The Javanese may be the cat for you.
Like the Balinese it is an extremely intelligent breed, and will soon assert its rightful place in your household: as "major domo," telling you in its sweet voice that it is time for dinner, or for play.
The Javanese will joyfully ride your shoulders, play fetch with you, and just generally enrich your humdrum life.
Such a deal -- such a cat!
Hypoallergenic claims of the breed
Anecdotally, the Javanese in particular are claimed to cause fewer problems with allergies for their owners than most breeds.
The Javanese is in all respects an Oriental cat and come in all the same colour shades and patterns as the Oriental cat, but with the same coat length and texture as the Balinese. They can and are bred back to top quality Siamese or Oriental to improve the type and eye colour of the breed. This mating results in Siamese or Oriental kittens in the first generation, and kittens resulting from these matings are then put to Balinese, Javanese Siamese or Oriental.
Bhalihi have a line of white cats that normally have beautiful deep blue eyes but they can have odd eyes (one green one blue) or occasionally pale blue eyes.
